Round shot was the ammunition for the muskets and pistols carried on board the Henrietta Marie. The lead balls could be made by sailors from spare lead carried on board using handheld molds. The mold seems and sprue marks can still be seen on many. This ammunition would be used for defense against boarding as well as from the slaves on board.
